How to Remove SSL Lets Encrypt Certificate on Bitnami Ubuntu

Best and easiest way I’ve found this far can be found here:

How to remove a lets encrypt ssl cert

Jota a Bitnami engineer says:
If you used our generate_certificate.sh script (you said in this thread that you were using it https://community.bitnami.com/t/ssl-install-on-a-wp-multisite-this-is-the-message-help/64947240), you will only need to recover the original bitnami.conf file and restart Apache to use the dummy certificates we include in our solutions again.

sudo mv /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami.conf /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami.conf.letsencrypt
sudo mv /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami.conf.back /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami.conf
sudo /opt/bitnami/ctlscript.sh restart apache

The only thing this fails to mention is that on line 2

sudo mv /opt/bitnami/apache2/conf/bitnami/bitnami.conf.back

The end of the file name ‘bitnami.conf.back’ should be replaced with a date ‘bitnami.conf.112822020’.

If you don’t have your originally dated file you can find it in the same folder the bitnami.conf is located in. Or use ‘sudo locate bitnami.conf’ and this should return you some results where you will see it.

Chances are your first line of that ran fine, and then you got the error on the second. So you will only need to re-run the corrected second line and then restart.
